So our current concept art assignment is a group project, and we’re interpreting The Three Musketeers as an 80s high school romantic comedy, where the Musketeers are a bunch of roller derby babes.
Milady de Winter was always my favorite part of the The Three Musketeers - she steals, murders, and sleeps her way across the entire cast of characters under various names. Once we started gender-bending, Milady became Milo de Winter, smooth-talking mysterious drug dealer at the school. I really like femme blond guys, ok?
These are just some early sketches - I’m trying to make him 80s instead of just modern-day hipster and mostly failing at this point…
